This weekend, in celebration of the start of summer, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan 5 “Red Suede” aka “Flight Suit.”

Similar to the “Toro” edition from 2009 – which is clearly the better of the two – this red suede variation keeps with a reflective tongue alongside black branding and a matching midsole flame. A translucent outer sits below.

The Air Jordan 5 “Red Suede” will be available in full family sizing this Saturday, July 1. Grab a look courtesy of Livestock below.

Although the wait has been longer than most care to remember, Jordan Brand is finally releasing the long anticipated Air Jordan 11 “Gym Red” this holiday season.

Largely remembered as the “Melo” PE and now being dubbed – fittingly, we might add – the Air Jordan 11 “Bulls,” this tonal Gym Red iteration is finished with black Jumpman and tongue branding while a translucent icy outer sits below and white midsole.

Priced at $220, and the second Air Jordan 11 release of the holiday season following the “Navy” on Black Friday, take a better look at the “Gym Red” 11’s below and share your thoughts.

Colorway: Gym Red/Black-White
Style #: 378037-623
Release Date: December 9, 2017

Is the Nike Air Max 97 the best retro release of 2017? By many estimations it absolutely is, and appears better today than it did 20 years ago when it first debuted. Now that traditional Silver and Gold colorways have released, Nike is back in their bag for another storied pair last seen back in 2010.

The Nike Air Max 97 “Marina Blue” returns to stores on July 7. This time, though, the release is exclusive to the fairer sex.

Largely similar to the OG Silver pair yet dressed in a light blue shade as opposed to red, take a closer look below and expect the release via Nike.com.

We’ve known for a while now that the Air Jordan 5 “Blue Suede” would release sometime in September. Today, though, the upcoming model is vindicated with a proper release date.

At the close of the month, on September 30, fans will be able to get their hands on yet another suede Air Jordan 5. Official images of the shoe have arrived today, too, so give them a look below and let us know if you plan to cop at the end of summer.

Fighter plane inspiration turns to literal styling on the upcoming Air Jordan 5 “Camo” release. The militant motif plays well to the sleek design of the 1990 silo, with olive tones warmed up by way of fiery accents. Kept cool by an iced out bottom and ventilated midfoot panel, look for the Air Jordan 5 “Camo” to take flight this Fall, on September 2nd to be exact.

A color block swap, a retro rewind of sorts, the Air Jordan 5 “Cement” sees styling reminiscent of its predecessor yet for the first time ever. Cement speckling takes to that of the shark toothed silo, with grey appearing at the midsole and eyelet for an ’89 take on the ’90 favorite.

Showing shades of custom concepts and cross-pollenating JB DNA, look for the Air Jordan 5 “Cement” to release on August 5th at select Jordan Brand accounts.

Air Jordan 6 “Like Mike” Releasing This Fall

JUL 21, 2017

Following confusion surrounding the original “Gatorade” Air Jordan 6 sample which will not release at retail, the proper Air Jordan 6 “Like Mike” is vindicated with a look similar to the OG “Carmine.”

Fitted in orange paneling with white leather overlays, the shoe mimics that of Gatorade’s orange brand coloring seen on their earlier squeeze bottles. The “Like Mike” commercial that surrounded MJ’s initial endorsement campaign with Gatorade fuels the “If I Could Be…” script behind the shoe’s tongue, while green accents finish the look at the Jumpman branding and lace locks.

Stay tuned for release details on the Air Jordan 6 “Like Mike” edition which is tentatively slated for October.

Maison Margiela is back with their classic Painted Knit Sneakers and this time, they utilize a cracked black painting texture to cover the majority of the upper and part of the midsole for an avant garde look. The midsole and top of the sock-liner feature a white hue for contrast, while a pair of thick rope laces finish this silhouette off with a luxury appeal.

The Maison Margiela Painted Knit Sneakers are now available at select shops, like Wrong Weather.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the classic “Shaq Attaq,” Reebok re-released the Hall of Fame big man’s first signature sneaker in an all new White/Navy/Scarlet colorway. But while “White/Navy/Scarlet” is the official name of the colorway, the color scheme does seem to take shots at Christian Laettner, who was selected for the Dream Team over O’Neal.

Referencing the ’92 Dream Team as well as Flight Huaraches, check out detailed photos of the Reebok Shaq Attaq White/Navy/Scarlet below and hit up Xtreme to pick up a pair of O’Neal’s signature sneakers.

The current renaissance circling the Nike Air Force 1 began back in November 2016 when the highly touted SF-AF1 first released at Complex Con. Retro releases would follow, fueled by supporting new colorways of all height variations. Today, a gem from eight years ago emerges with ties to NYC and summertime.

Originally released back in 2009, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Jones Beach” odes Long Island and its warm weather attraction – Jones Beach. The shoe triumphantly returns in original form, outfitted in a tan upper with a seaweed graphic at the heel paneling.

Take a first look at the “Jones Beach” retro below and calendar the July 22 release date.
