Islam is heavy through ABPSN, AVLN, and MCN. Those the only Brothers I know for sure have Islam in their lit, and I know Muslims/Moslems and Gods from BPS and VL. Though I'm not part and partial of the Moorish Science Temple of America, I do consider myself a Moslem and I've also had the lessons of the Nation of God and Earth (5%) in my possession for the past four years.

True. We got a whole other side of the Nation reserved specifically for Muslim Brothers. At one point through the 70's and 80's our whole Nation was Moslem under the C.P. Even now, we still got a heavy Islamic presence in the ABPSN/Masjid Al Kabah. After a while, I'm gonna look to get a charter to bring the Moorish Science Temple out here to Memphis.

I think I've seen that one before. That was a Nation of Islam temple wasn't it? I haven't been down there for so long though. I sitting between two mosques and an Islamic learning center out here in Raleigh.

Yes sir, they do. My CP is Sunni. I know some Lords that's gone orthodox as well. We're looking at the examples of Noble Drew Ali, Master Fard Muhammad, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Malcolm X, Clarence Smith, etc., and alot of us see Islam as sort of a Black Liberation theology, no matter which branch of the faith we decide to follow. Islam is about the only major religion that hasn't been Westernized, and I think that's why it appeals to so many of us.

Assalamu Alaikum, brothers. I was wondering do anyone of yall pray or read the quran or know the history of early islam? I was born and raised a muslim, and while in jail I read the WHOLE Quran in english.

I have one issue with the El Rukens. They use the one eye, which is a taboo in islam. The Anti-Christ(Dajjal) will have one eye(or two eyes, and one is deformed). This is hadith pertaining to the one eye:

Allah's Apostle stood up amongst the people and then praised and glorified Allah as He deserved and then he mentioned Ad-Dajjal, saying, "I warn you of him, and there was no prophet but warned his followers of him; but I will tell you something about him which no prophet has told his followers: Ad-Dajjal is one-eyed whereas Allah is not."

Hadith - Bukhari 9.241, Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar

Sunni or Shia Islam are the only true forms of Islam. Malcolm X himself was killed because he went from the Nation of Islam/5% to a Sunni Muslim. He changed his denomination after a pilgrimage to Mecca.
