Re: BLACK EGPYT?
Narmer (Menes) The 1st Pharaoh of Egypt
(Fig 5 - Diop Cheikh Anta, The African Origin of Civilization, 1974)
King Aha-Mena-Narmer is known by millions of people by the Greek-distorted "version" of his name: King Menes. Notice the African features from his high chick bones, flat nose and thick lips. The Kufi/Crown upon his head is a sign of royal authority.
King Aha-Mena-Narmer is the founding King of the first Ancient Egyptian dynasty. He also become the first Emperor of Kemet by unifying Upper and Lower Egypt into one imperial federation, along the Nile Valley. From its Central-Eastern Kilimanjaro Mountains sources to the Mediterranean Sea Delta, the Ancient Egyptian Empire gave birth to the world's first civilization.
Since then, the imperial heritage has been carried on, from dynasty to dynasty and from generation to generation. Extensive territory is nothing new to African Kings and Emperors: it is simply a matter of historical, cultural and imperial continuity.
African history and culture trace their roots back to that pharaonic period, the ultimate source of African humanities. The same way the European/Western world traces its history and culture back to Greece and Rome. African human sciences, finally reconciled with its Ancient Egyptian sources, can retrace the entire history of the Nation, step-by-step.
On this immemorial timeline, the enslavement and colonial periods suffered by African people can be considered as little parenthesis. Yet, the terrible impact of colonial bound mis-education and cultural conditioning affects many people, Blacks and Whites alike. Consequently, innocent victims of "schooling" who have lost their historical memories, now find it hard to believe that, Black people actually played the earliest civilizing role in the world. That misleading education has damaged the minds, self-esteem and behavior of many people across racial lines:
"The History of humanity will remain confused as long as as we fail to distinguish between the two early cradles in which nature fashioned the instincts, temperament, habits and ethical concepts of the two subdivisions before they met each other after a long separation, dating back to prehistoric times..."Cheikh Anta Diop
Dr. Cheikh Anta Diop, in his “L’Antiquité Africaine Par L’Image” (Notes Africaines No Special 145) drew two important conclusions:
1.
Humanity born at the latitude of the African Great Lakes, near the Ecuador is by necessity pigmented (black) and African. This is substantiated by Gloger’s Law which states that warm blooded beings are pigmented in hot and humid climates”.
2.
All races are issued from the African race by direct relationships and, the other continents were peopled from Africa at the Homo erectus stage, as well as the Homo sapiens stage, which appeared about 150,000 years ago.
It has been finally proven that, for a time period beginning 5 million years ago up until the glacial thaw (10,000 years ago), Africa almost unilaterally peopled and influenced the rest of the world.
Dr. Leakey, one of the world's most reputable paleo-anthropologist, in his serious work “Progress And Evolution Of Man In Africa”, reminds us that: “The critics of Africa forget that men of science are today satisfied that, Africa was the birthplace of man himself”. Human beings are Africa’s first contribution to humanity.
Advanced research and several studies in prehistory and paleo-anthropology have confirmed the similarities between the original founders of the pharaonic civilization (ancient Nubians, Ethiopians and Egyptians) and the modern day Africans.
Rawlinson concludes in “Origins Of Nations” that: “The authors of Genesis unites together as members of the same ethnic family the Egyptians, the Ethiopians, the Southern Arabians, and the primitive inhabitants of Babylon”.
According to many ancient testimonies, the inhabitants of Sudan, Egypt, Arabia, Palestine, Western Asia and India were Ethiopians, therefore Africans. Back in that era, there were two lands called Ethiopia. Sir Godfrey Higgins (Anacalypsis, vol.1) declared: “One on the east of the Red Sea, and the other on the west of it; and a very great nation of Blacks, from India, did rule almost over all Asia in a very remote era, in fact beyond the reach of history of any of our records”.
Herodotus who was initiated within the Ancient Egyptian mystery system declared that:” The uniform voice of primitive antiquity spoke of the Ethiopians as one single race, dwelling along the shores of the southern ocean, from India to the pillars of Hercules”. (Herodotus, vol.1 book I)

Re: BLACK EGPYT?
Greece: An Average Student of Ancient Egypt
Dr. Theophile Obenga, in this magisterial book "African Philosophy in World History" (Obenga,1998), successfully challenges and neutralizes the Hegelian philosophy of history, continuing in the footsteps of Dr. Cheikh Anta Diop, his mentor. Hegel alienated the Caucasian mind by stating with ignorance that "Africa has no history". That mis-education of the Caucasians led to arrogance with an unfounded racial superiority belief system.
The seven liberal arts and sciences, which are grammar, rhetoric, logic, arithmetic, geometry, music and astronomy, come out of Africa. Therefore, to the Ancient Egyptians, and neither to the Greeks, nor to the Romans, are we indebted for the present body of human knowledge. Greece and Rome were average students in Ancient Egypt. Considered foreigners and childish, Greek students were unable to access a complete initiation and induction within the Ancient Egyptian Mystery System.
Aristotle of Stagira, Thales of Miletus, Pythagoras of Samos, Diodorus of Sicily, Plato and Strabo were all initiated in Ancient Egypt, from a very young age until adulthood. Their eyewitness accounts reflect the fact that they were taught and instructed by dark skinned teachers born and raised in Africa. Greed, prestige and reputation made most of them ungrateful, when they claimed all the theories and theorems, formulas and axioms they learned in Ancient Egypt for themselves. Most Greek and Roman students of Africa committed plagiarism by signing their names on their African teachers writings, inventions,
creations and productions.
Thus, we now have: "Theorem of Pythagoras", "Thales'Axiom" among many illegal appropriations of the African sciences of geometry, mathematics, architecture, rhetoric and philosophy. Those operative sciences have been invented and implemented in the heart of Africa, thousands of years before the Greeks and Romans came into existence as a distinct race!
That saga continues today with the renaming of African scientific papyri such as the "Rhind Papyri" and the "Moscow mathematical Papyri". Those Papyri and their scientific content were produced and elaborated thousands of years before Rhind's people were born. Eastern Europe was still under the ice-age with barbaric people. Moscow, nor any of its founders, were even in existence at the time.
Since mankind originated first in Africa, it was necessarily black before becoming white through mutation and adaptation, at the end of the last ice-age in Europe. Scholars both ancient and modern have finally come to the conclusion that, the African people created the world first civilization. Our ancestors did rule the world from its seats of power, enthroned from the valley of the Granges, the Tigris and Euphrates, to the Nile and Niger Rivers.

Re: BLACK EGPYT?
The Black Egyptians are the original settlers of KMT. "The native Sudanese are one of the original pigmented Arabs in that region. They are members of the same ethnic family with the ancient Egyptians, the Ethiopians, the Southern Arabians, and the primitive inhabitants of Babylon. All founders and sustainers of the mighty Nilotic civilization we still admire today. They are very great nation of Blacks, who did rule almost over all Africa and Asia in a very remote era, in fact beyond the reach of history of any of our records.
Egypt is a Greek word meaning “Black.”
bullet The Egyptians of the Bible were Negroid.
bullet The Bible says both Egyptians and Ethiopians are descendants of Ham.
bullet Arabs invaded Egypt in the 7th Century AD; Remember, Egypt wasn't invaded by Rome until 300 BC. The Bible dates 4000 BC.
bullet Therefore, Arabs have no more connection to Ancient Egypt than Europeans have to Ancient America.
bullet Egyptian is an Afro-Asiatic language. (AFRO, AFRO)
bullet The national language of modern day Egypt is Egyptian Arabic, which gradually replaced Coptic. (Coptic--Ethiopia)
bullet
Black Egyptians were eventually mixed with invading Libyans, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Turks, Arabs and Western Europeans. That is where the mixed people of the modern-day Arabs come from.
The following is supporting evidence from The African Origin of Civilization: by: Cheikh Anta Diop
#
Evidence from Physical Anthropology
The skeletons and skulls of the Ancient Egyptians clearly reflect they were Negroid people with features very similar to those of modern Black Nubians and other people of the Upper Nile and of East Africa.
# Melanin Dosage Test
Egyptologist Cheikh Anta Diop invented a method for determining the level of melanin in the skin of human beings. When conducted on Egyptian mummies in the Museum of Man in Paris, this test indicated these remains were of Black people.
# Osteological Evidence
"Lepsius canon," which distinguishes the bodily proportions of various racial groups categories the "ideal Egyptian" as "short-armed and of Negroid or Negrito physical type."
# Evidence From Blood Types
Diop notes that even after hundreds of years of inter-mixture with foreign invaders, the blood type of modern Egyptians is the "same group B as the populations of western Africa on the Atlantic seaboard and not the A2 Group characteristic of the white race prior to any crossbreeding."
# The Egyptians as They Saw Themselves
"The Egyptians had only one term to designate themselves =kmt= the Negroes (literally). This is the strongest term existing in the Pharaonic tongue to indicate blackness; it is accordingly written with a hieroglyph representing a length of wood charred at the end and not crocodile scales," singular. ‘Kmt’ from the adjective =kmt= black; it therefore means strictly Negroes or at the very least black men. The term is a collective noun which thus described the whole people of Pharaonic Egypt as a black people."
# Divine Epithets
Diop demonstrates that "black or Negro" is the divine epithet invariably used for the chief beneficent Gods of Egypt, while the evil spirits were depicted as red.
#
Evidence From the Bible The Bible states"…[t]he sons of Ham [were] Cush and Mizraim [i.e. Egypt], and Phut, and Canaan. And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah and Sabtechah." According to Biblical tradition, Ham, of course, was the father of the Black race. "Generally speaking all Semitic tradition (Jewish and Arab) class ancient Egypt with the countries of the Black."
8. Cultural unity of Egypt With The Rest of Africa
Through a study of circumcision and totemism. Diop gives detailed data showing cultural unity between Egypt and the rest of Africa.
9. Linguistic Unity With Southern and Western Africa
In a detailed study of languages, Diop clearly demonstrates that Ancient Egyptian, modern Coptic of Egypt and Walaf of West Africa are related, with the latter two having their origin in the former.
10. Testimony of Classical Greek and Roman Authors
Virtually all of the early Latin eyewitnesses described the Ancient Egyptians as Black skinned with wooly hair.
After the conquest of Egypt by Alexander, under the Ptolemies, crossbreeding between white Greeks and black Egyptians flourished. "Nowhere was Dionysus more favored, nowhere was he worshiped more adoringly and more elaborately than by the Ptolemies, who recognized his cult as an especially effective means of promoting the assimilation of the conquering Greeks and their fusion with the native Egyptians." {Endnote 15: J. J. Bachofen, Pages choisies par Adrien Turel, "Du Regne de la mere au patriarcat." Paris: F. Alcan, 1938, p. 89.}
These facts prove that if the Egyptian people had originally been white, it might well have remained so. If Herodotus found it still black after so much crossbreeding, it must have been basic black at the start.
Before examining the contradictions circulating in the modern era and resulting from attempts to prove at any price that the Egyptians were Whites, let us note the comments of Count Constantin de Volney (1757-1820). After being imbued with all the prejudices we have just mentioned with regard to the Negro, Volney had gone to Egypt between 1783 and 1785, he reported the Egyptian Race is the very race that had produced the Pharaohs: the Copts (p. 27). “All have a bloated face, puffed up eyes, flat nose, and thick lips; in a word, the true face of the mulatto. I was tempted to attribute it to the climate, but when I visited the Sphinx; its appearance gave me the key to the riddle. On seeing that head, typically Negro in all its features, I remembered the remarkable passage where Herodotus says: "As for me, I judge the Colchians to be a colony of the Egyptians because, like them, they are black with woolly hair. ..." We can see how their blood, mixed for several centuries with that of the Romans and Greeks, must have lost the intensity of its original color, while retaining nonetheless the imprint of its original mold. We can even state as a general principle that the face is a kind of monument able, in many cases, to attest or shed light on historical evidence on the origins of peoples. {End quote}
When Egypt was invaded by Arabs - Egypt suffered turbulent times when, in 609 AD, the country had sided with Nicetas, a lieutenant of Heraclius, in the rebellion against the emperor Phocas. Only shortly after Heraclius overthrew Phocas, the Byzantines were attacked by the Persians. The armies of the Sasanid King Khosrau II invaded Egypt, inflicting cruel suffering upon its some of its inhabitants. This Persian occupation lasted six years.

Re: BLACK EGPYT?
The fact that they want to claim Anicent Egypt as White just doesnt make any sense. That would mean that White people were in Africa during that time period. But the only reason why they call them White is because of the Arabs that currently live there who are considered White off of the census that WHITE PEOPLE created. The whole Anicent Egypt was White theory came only during the 18th-19th century when Europeans were colonizing the world and this was their justification used to make Black people look inferior and an attempt to justify the slave trade and make it seem like Blacks havent contributed anything to society. But all you got to do is look at the art. There were blond hair, blue eyed Pharoahs. Maybe in those Hollywood movies but not in reality

Re: BLACK EGPYT?
Nice cut and past job of an Afrocentricist Diop Cheikh Anta EEV.

Firstly, Egyptians aren't Arabs but arabized Caucasians.
Secondly, Egypt has been called the "The Land of the Black And The Land of The Red".
Kemet "Land Of The Black" represents the Nile valley particularly the Nile delta in lower Egypt. The Nile floods yearly leaving a black silt over the land. The soil is black and nutrient rich.
(BTW, the Nile river flows north, so lower Egypt doesn't mean lower Egypt literally. Lower Egypt is northern Egypt, upper Egypt is southern Egypt.)
Deshret "Land Of The Red" represents red soil and the mysterious desolate desert lands on either of the Nile valley, ancient Egyptians feared and respected these deserts.
Kemet is not racial oriented in fact, the Egyptians during the Old Kingdom called Nubia -- Ta-Seti but during the Middle Kingdom onward -- Kush or Meroe.
Thirdly, the artists of ancient Egypt basically only had 6 color dyes in which to use in their arts and heiroglyphs -- green, red, white, black, yellow, and blue.

If you walked into an Egyptian museum exhibit today, what would you see? You’d probably marvel at the beauty of the handwork and skills that created such intricate pieces of jewelry. You’d carefully inspect the painting and carvings on various objects such as amulets and pottery. And you’d be impressed with the richness of color throughout it all. But even with all you may know about Egyptian history, you’d only be getting half the story if you don’t know how to "read" the color code.
Deciphering Egyptian codes, from hieroglyphs to the meanings of amulets, is key in completely understanding the messages left behind by ancient Egyptians. Symbolism was everywhere, and almost everything they created had a deeper meaning, including the gemstone colors of the jewelry they wore, the colors used in tomb reliefs, and the materials used to make amulets. Colors were very important, because the Egyptians believed that not only did colors revealed the true essence of a person or a thing, but they also could provide them with protection or other magical properties. So just what were these complex ancient people trying to say?
To the ancient Egyptians, color was an essential part of life. If a god was considered to have no color, then the meaning was that the god could never be thoroughly understood. The magic of color dates back to prehistoric times. Red is referred to in the Old Testament, and the Romans believed that the healing power of coral came from its red color. Amulets were used throughout the prehistoric world, but amuletic magic became an actual science when the first civilizations developed in Egypt.
The Egyptian palette had six colors: red (desher), green (wadj), blue (khesbedj and irtiu), yellow (kenit and khenet), black (khem or kem), and white (shesep and hedj). Most of these colors were made from mineral compounds, which is why they retained their vibrant colors throughout thousands of years. And most of the gemstones they used were semi-precious and chosen not as much for their beauty as they were for the symbolism or the perceived magic they contained. Whether these materials were carved into everyday jewelry or ground down and painted on tomb walls, their colors were not used randomly. Great forethought was given to the colors used on the deity being portrayed, the deceased person’s afterlife requirements, or living Egyptian’s protection.
From ancient times into the 21st century, many people have put their faith and belief in the power of gemstones and color for various purposes: To attract a mate, for fertility, for victory, to improve health, and just about any need. In ancient Egypt, both royalty and average citizens wore jewelry with religious or magical significance; in fact, almost everyone, including infants, wore at least one amulet. Wearing an amulet made from a particular stone with a specific motif engraved upon it would encircle the wearer with the magic of that amulet. For example, scarabs were carved from many types of stones and were worn to guarantee continued existence in this life as well as in the afterlife.
As with most ancient Egyptian symbols, there are many variations to the interpretation of color. Interpreting the symbolism of colors used in paintings or on objects many times depends on the context in which they are used, much the way hieroglyphs are understood through context. Here are some of the more commonly accepted understandings:
Green was believed to be the color of new life, growth, vegetation, and fertility. A person was said to be doing "green things" if his behavior was beneficial or life producing. The power of green to guarantee new life or resurrection is why many depictions of Osiris show him with green skin, referring to his resurrection and power over vegetation. Chapter 77 of the Book of the Dead makes reference to the deceased becoming a falcon "whose wings are of green stone", referring to new life and rebirth. Also, the common "Eye of Heru" amulet is often green characterizing the color as one of healing and well-being in its association with the eye. But the most important green amulet was the heart scarab, which was placed in the heart cavity in case something happened to the deceased person’s actual heart. The heart was vital because it was considered the seat of emotions and intellect, and it was believed that the heart had a will and existence of its own. Several chapters in the Book of the Dead are dedicated to the preservation and protection of the heart.
Wadj, the word for green, which also meant to flourish or be healthy, was used for the papyrus plant as well as for the green stone malachite. Green malachite was a symbol of joy. In a larger reference, the phrase "field of malachite" was used when speaking of the land of the blessed dead
Another green stone, which was a favorite among Egyptians, was turquoise. The word for this greenish stone was mefkat, which meant joy or delight. The use of turquoise has been traced back to the beginnings of civilization. When the tomb of Egyptian Queen Zer (5500 BC) was excavated in 1900, archaeologists discovered a turquoise and gold bracelet on her wrist.
In ancient Egypt, if no turquoise could be found, glazed quartz was used as a substitute. It was the representation of the color, more than the actual material itself that mattered.
Red was a powerful color, symbolizing two extremes: Life and victory as well as anger and fire. Red also represented blood, and in Chapter 156 from the Book of the Dead (as translated by Dr. Raymond Faulkner), protection is sought through the blood (power) of Isis:
Chapter for a knot-amulet of red jasper
You have your blood, O Isis; you have your power, O Isis; you have your magic, O Isis. The amulet is a protection for this Great One which will drive away whoever would commit a crime against him.
Mummies of the pharaohs contained a tiny reproduction of the human heart, which was always made from a precious or semi-precious red stone. This represented the Ba, and it was placed in the heart cavity with the Scarab. The Ba was also carried by people who suffered from a heart condition, or by those who wanted to protect their hearts from injury.
The Shen was a very important amulet, which was associated with the sun god Re. It appears as a disk with the rim resting on a straight line, symbolizing the sun on the horizon. When it was worn as a personal charm, it ensured long life for the wearer. This amulet was usually made of either carnelian or another type of red stone, and sometimes from lapis lazuli.
In its negative context of anger and fire, red was the color of the god Set, who was the personification of evil and the powers of darkness, as well as the god who caused storms. Some images of Set are colored with red skin. In addition, red-haired men as well as animals with reddish hair or skins were thought to be under the influence of Set. A person filled with rage was said to have a red heart.
For some reason, the red stone carnelian eventually came to be considered an ill-omened stone. Its name, herset, meant sadness.
Dark blue, also called "Egyptian" blue, was the color of the heavens, water, and the primeval flood, and it represented creation or rebirth. The favorite blue stone was lapis lazuli, or khesbed, which also meant joy or delight. It is thought that blue may have had solar symbolism because of some objects made from blue faience that carry a solar theme. There is also a theory that blue may have been symbolic of the Nile and represented fertility, because of the fertile soils along the Nile that produced crops. Because the god Amen (also spelled Amon or Amun) played a part in the creation of the world, he was sometimes depicted with a blue face; therefore, pharaohs associated with Amen were shown with blue faces also. In general, it was said that the gods had hair made of lapis lazuli. In a tomb painting of the Opening of the Mouth ceremony, depictions of both the mummy and Anubis are shown with blue hair.
Beads made from lapis lazuli have been found dating back to the Predynastic Period. Since lapis lazuli was imported from the Euphrates area because it was not native to Egypt, these early specimens show that extremely ancient civilizations had already formed trade routes.
Yellow designated the eternal and the indestructible, also considered to be qualities of the sun and of gold. Many statues of the gods were either made of gold or were gold-plated; in fact, Egyptians believed the gods’ skin and bones were made from gold. Tomb paintings showed gods with golden skin, and pharaohs’ sarcophagi were made from gold, since the belief was that a deceased pharaoh became a god. Some chapters of the Book of the Dead require that funerary jewelry be made from gold, and many golden mummy masks have been found. When the Shen (see "Red" for meaning and description) was made as a funerary amulet, it was always made of gold and placed inside the mummy wrappings above the breast. It was dedicated to Re and symbolized that the person would be restored to life and live as long as the sun shines, rising again like Re himself.
At times the color yellow was used interchangeably with white, and at those times it took on the symbolism of white.
Predynastic Egyptians were already fashioning simple beads from gold, but within a few centuries, goldsmiths became highly skilled and were able to make amulets, diadems, pectorals, finger rings, pendants, and every type of jewelry from gold.
Black symbolized death, the underworld, and the night. We see this reflected in Osiris, who was referred to as "the black one" because he was king of the afterlife, and also with reference to the god of embalming, Anubis, who was portrayed as a black jackal or dog. Because Queen Ahmose-Nefertari was the patroness of the necropolis, she was often shown with black skin.
In a rather unusual about-face, black could also represent fertility and resurrection because of the dark silt left behind by the annual Nile flood. From the most ancient Egyptian times, Egypt was known as Kemet, or "the black land", because of the dark soil of the Nile Valley; therefore, the color black symbolized Egypt itself. When used to represent resurrection, black and green were interchangeable.
White denoted purity and omnipotence, and because it had no real color, it represented things sacred and simple. White was especially symbolic in the religious objects and ritual tools used by priests. Many of these were made of white alabaster, including the Apis Bulls’ embalming table. "Memphis", a holy city, meant "White Walls", and white sandals were worn to holy ceremonies. White was also the color used to portray most Egyptian clothing. Hedj, one of the words for white, was also a word used for silver. When silver was used together with gold, they symbolized the moon and sun. Because red and white were opposites in meaning, they were at times placed together to symbolize completeness.
Nice try.

People who believe the ancient Egyptians were the same complexion as those today are foolish. Egypt was occupied for hundreds of years by the Romans, Ottomans and Arabs which would certainly lighten up the population. Humans have existed for 200,000 years, yet we measure using a small period of time to determine answers to these questions. It's good to know your history and express an interest in the past. But what about the future? We can't live in the past and the achievements of long ago. We need to be discussing how to be successful and fruitful in the present and future. Just like in life, you can't live in the past, you have to move forward and think forward. You can have all the knowledge of the past and history, but then what? What ya gonna do now? Knowing this, how does this improve tomorrow?

I partially, but what the bruthas don't realize, Egyptians are a unique people that they themselves classify as caucasian. Go to Egypt today and tell the common Egyptian ... hey, you're Pharaohs are niggas? Uh-huh. Yeah. These people have no other history beyond Egypt and they have been proven to be unchanged for 1000s of years. That the Egyptians today remain largely unchanged from the Dynastic kingdoms of ancient history. They are not Arabs or Semites they're arabized caucasians. Neither do they themselves classify themselves as Arab or Semite. Likewise with the Persians in modern day Iran they are a unique caucasian population too.

EGYPT WAS NEVER BLACK! BUT Y'ALL MAKE THIS ASSUMPTION OR DEDUCTION THAT AFRICA AUTOMATICALLY MEANS BLACK AND THAT IS NOT THE CASE. THESE "INVADERS" BASICALLY INTRODUCED SUB-SAHARAN AFRICANS TO NORTH AFRICA. THERE WERE NO CIVILIZATIONS IN NORTH AFRICA BEFORE THESE "INVADERS".
AND BLACK MAGIC DIAMOND, THAT IS A NUBIA PHAROAH NOT EGYPTIAN PHAROAH, HERE IS A GOOD HOMESTUDY FOR YOU TO PURSUE, LEARN WHAT THESE NAMES MEAN ... PIANKHI (PIYE), SHABAKA, SHABATAKA, TANUTAMON, TAHARQA (TIRHAKAH) ... LEARN WHAT THESE PLACES MEAN ... JEBEL (GEBEL) BARKAL, NAPATA, EL KURRU, NURI. AND DO AN INVESTIGATION ON THE 25TH DYNASTY. ALTERNATE SPELLINGS IN PARENTHESIS. OKAY?
THERE ARE MORE PYRAMIDS IN SUDAN (ANCIENT NUBIA) THAN EGYPT. THEY BUILT PYRAMIDS 1000S OF YEARS AFTER EGYPT CEASED. IN FACT, THE LAST PYRAMID BUILT IN SUDAN WAS AS LATE AS 300CE. 300 YEARS AFTER CHRIST WAS BORN. THEY WEREN'T THE MONUMENTAL TOMBS OF THE EGYPTIANS BECAUSE THEY WERE CONTRUCTED BY PRIMITIVE CRANE, SO THEY WERE ALOT SMALLER AND STEEPER PYRAMIDS.

Furthermore, that's not an image of Pharoah Narmer/Menes tho it is commonly claimed by AFROCENTRISTS to be so. There is only one image of Narmer/Menes in existance the Narmer Pallete. The bust in the photo has been carboned dated to 700BC BUT Narmer/Menes unified Egypt and created the 1st Dynasty in 3100BC. 2400 years earlier.
HERE IS THE ONLY TRUE KNOWN IMAGE OF NARMER/MENES IN EXISTANCE:

Uh-huh. Another Afrocentrist load of bull exposed.

Egypt was ruled by black pharaohs for nearly 100 years, but their role as leaders of the ancient civilization has been largely kept in the dark because of racism, according to this month's National Geographic magazine.
Scholars and historians have repeatedly failed to acknowledge the impact made by the group of kings who traveled from deep in Africa and conquered Egypt in 728 B.C., National Geographic says.
The Nubian kings, who came from an area of Africa that is mostly present-day Sudan, became the country's 25th dynasty and reunited Egypt, which had been torn apart by warlords.
The magazine claims the true impact of these rulers has never been widely accepted because European powers colonized the region in the 19th century and the role of the "darker skinned" conquerors was seen as irrelevant.
"For decades, historians flip-flopped: Either the black pharaohs were actually 'white,' or they were bumblers, their civilization a derivative off-shoot of true Egyptian culture," writes Robert Draper in National Geographic.
"The neglect of Nubian history reflected the bigoted world view of the times."
The story of the Nubians proves that African civilization was thriving in the ancient world, and intermingling and intermarriage with Egyptians was also reasonably common, the article says.
Some studies also have found that Egyptian pharaoh King Tutankhamun's grandmother, the 18th-dynasty Queen Tye, may have had Nubian heritage.

1. "Ignore or refuse to publish any facts of African history" that would not support
their racial theories.
2. "Create a religious and 'scientific' doctrine" to ease the white conscience for
oppressing and enslaving African people.
3. "Flood the world with hastily thrown together African 'histories'" that contain
European perspectives only.
4. "Start renaming people and places. Replace African names of persons, places, and
things with Arabic and European names." This will disguise their true black identity.
5. Change the criteria for defining race. For example, one drop of Negro blood in
America makes you a Negro, no matter how light your skin. When reporting ancient
history, reverse the standard. Make one drop of white blood render someone a
Caucasian no matter how dark the skin. (Test this criteria during the
"riding-at-the-back-of the-bus" era of the South during the 1940s in the USA. Be
assured that any of the Pharaoh's of Egypt, especially up to and including the 25th
Dynasty, would have been required to sit at the back of the bus.)
6. When black participation in civilization is so obvious your best schemes can't
hide it, find a way to attribute the success to outside white influence.
7. When all the ancient historians contradict your theory, seek to discredit them.

Re: BLACK EGPYT?
For about 15 centuries, people, fascinated, gazed upon Egyptian hieroglyphics without comprehending their meaning.
Fort Rashid -- Strategic military site at the mouth of the Nile In 1799, LT Pierre Bouchard discovered the Rosetta Stone (below) while building Fort Julian (see to left--now Fort Rashid) on the west bank of the Nile during Napoleon's Egyptian campaign. the proclamation carved on it, praising Ptolemy V in 196 B.C., is of relatively little significance; what is important is that the inscription appears in three texts: Hieroglyphics, Egyptian Demotic Script and Greek. (click here to read entire text)
Jean Francois Champollion (below) was a brilliant linguist who worked from an 1808 copy of the Rosetta Stone's inscription. He labored on it for 14 years without ever seeing the stone itself. In 1822, Champollion finally decided that "Ptolemy" might be read phonetically -- patiently reconstructing the name, sound by sound from the Greek and Coptic. Twenty-three years passed before the Rosetta Stone finally surrendered its secret which began with the deciphering of "Ptolemy's" name. (Click on the Rosetta Stone image below for information about ordering a full-size, 3-D replica.)
Other inscriptions on artifacts like obelisks and monuments could now be read. These discovery spawned an even greater interest in Egyptian archaeology. Anthropologists and archaeologists were presented with quite a challenging conflict.
Slave ship during Middle Passage
In the early 1800s, around the same time Egyptian Archaeology was maturing, the Middle Passage (slave trade) was in full swing. In order for Europeans to justify the economic drive of the slave trade, blacks had to be viewed as non-humans. Animals. Tools for building the dreams of Europeans.
In stark contrast to the picture of blacks being painted by those who favored the slave trade -- anthropologists and archaeologists were discovering more statues and other artifacts which presented a different view. Black people had indeed created the many pyramids and other artifacts. What to do? The Egyptians had left behind a huge "Picture Album"

Re: BLACK EGPYT?
Egypt has always been a place of fascination for the ancients outside the region of Egypt. For instance, two of the seven wonders of the World were situated in Egypt.
The Rosetta Stone was discovered during the Napoleonic Egyptian Campaign in 1799. In 1822 Jean Champollion was able to crack the code of hieroglyphics. Once the code of hieroglyphics had been cracked, it brought a renewed interest to that region of the world.
For the first time in thousands of years, utilizing the new-found skills of reading Egyptian hieroglyphics, people could corroborate certain historical events, people and places. The discovery of the Rosetta Stone and subsequent understanding of the esoteric hieroglyph language was the connection that brought everything to the forefront for "modern" people to wrestle with some realities.
European archaeologists, anthropologists and historians were in a catch-22 situation. On one hand they were seeing images of people with clear Afroid features as they traveled around Egypt.
On the other hand, there was the terrible history of the slave trade that had been going on for approximately 350 years prior. For Europeans to justify the economic drive of the slave trade, there had to be the denigration of people of African descent. (Also, let's not forget the complicity of African Kings in bringing their warring neighbors to the slave traders.) Since the slave trade had been going on for some 350 years, the negative view of Black people had permeated much of Europe, South and North America and the rest of the world.
There was a crisis of conscience, especially in the mid 1800s. How are the European archaeologists going to interpret what they are seeing and understanding, to an eager outside world? In my opinion, they blew a wonderful opportunity to share the truth. Instead most went to all sorts of ends to try to present Egyptians as though they were not of African descent. The book, Black Spark, White Fire (Richard Poe) addresses the ethnicity of the ancient Egyptians in a most ingenious manner.
The one-drop rule worked in the US -- one drop of black blood makes one black. Let's reverse the standards for archaeologists and anthropologists when viewing ancient history -- one drop of white blood makes you white, no matter how curly the hair or thick the lips.
All of this impacted the world -- brought on by a specific event. In my opinion, the re-discovery of the Rosetta Stone was the catalyst that brought about the series of events that ultimately reshaped the thinking of people around the world regarding the ethnicity of the ancient Egyptians.
See for yourself. The photos you are about to view in a few moments are not so much "Afro Centric" as they are "Truth Centric". See powerful visual images that reveal much more than words could ever communicate. Here's a quick example:
In many sectors there seems to be some controversy about the racial make-up of the Egyptian people, i.e. whether they were White or Black. This is a simplistic approach to a much more complicated set of circumstances since Egypt's strategic location brought people in from the south with Nubian and equatorial African influence and from the northern coast of Africa and the Middle East with Afro-Mediterranean and Semitic influences. The Biblical record places Egypt among the "Black" countries. Melanin dosage tests of mummified remains (controversial due to damage caused by the embalming process) seem to indicate a level of melanocytes consistent with a people of a semi tropical to temperate climate zone.
Egypt continues to dominate the focus of our African oriented studies. These studies have clearly demonstrated that not only were early Egypt's origins African, but that through the whole of Egypt's Dynastic Era (the age of the Pharaohs), and during all of her many periods of national splendor, men and women with black skin complexions, broad noses, full lips, and tightly curled hair, were dominant in both the general population and governing elite.
In the intense and unrelenting struggle to establish scientifically the African foundations of Egyptian civilization, the late Senegalese scholar Dr. Cheikh Anta Diop remains a most fierce and ardent champion. Dr. Diop (1923-1986) was without a doubt one of the world's leading Egyptologist and held the position of Director of the Radiocarbon Laboratory at the Fundamental Institute of Black Africa in Dakar, Senegal. In stating the importance of the work, Diop noted emphatically and early on that, "The history of Black Africa will remain suspended in air and cannot be written correctly until African historians dare to connect it with the history of Egypt."The solid range of methodologies employed by Dr. Diop in the course of his extensive Afro-Egyptian labors included: examinations of the epidermis of the mummies of Egyptian kings for verification of their melanin content; precise osteological measurements and meticulous studies in the various relevant areas of anatomy and physical anthropology; careful examinations and comparisons of modern Upper Egyptian and West African blood-types; detailed Afro-Egyptian linguistic studies and the corroboration of distinct Afro-Egyptian cultural traits; documents of racial designations employed by the early Africans themselves; Biblical testimonies and references that address the ancient Egyptian's ethnicity, race and culture; and the writings of early Greek and Roman travelers and scholars describing the physical characteristics of the ancient Egyptians.
The original Egyptians were unmixed pure black folks. When they were at the pinnacle of their glory they were not a mixed group by any means. During the middle dynasties especially (and later) when people migrated to this great land there was some intermarrying. This is natural and doesn't need to be debated. It was even done within royalty lines at times to solidify alliances, which was a common practice between powers during that period of history. Chancellor Williams refers to this phenomenon in his book "The Destruction of Black Civilization." And frankly, he theorizes that this mixing was part of the reason for the fall of Black Civilization. Nevertheless, there was never so much of this that at any time the ancient Egyptians could ever be classified as other than a black people.
It's reasonable to say that Egypt was a gateway for the meeting and interchange of goods, ideas, and people; and that the Egyptians were themselves a unique expression of human strength, beauty, intelligence and diversification. Ancient Egypt was an African civilization. It is also interesting to note that the Biblical record states "Israel also came into Egypt...the land of Ham." (Psalm 105: 23).
Plus we need to be reminded that Egypt is in Africa (not the Middle East) and that all of the Pharaohs (up to and including the 25th Dynasty) would have been required to "sit at the back of a bus" in the 1940s in Montgomery Alabama. Let's allow the pictures to speak for themselves...Ready?

African kings sold the African slaves. They grew filthy rich and powerful off the slave industry, they were trading pounds of black flesh for gold and other precious commodities.
EEV, here do alittle homework, do searchs on "Dahomey slavery", "Ashanti slavery", "Empire of Ghana slavery", "Empire of Mali slavery", "Empire of Songhay slavery", "Empire of Wolof slavery", "Empire of Yoruba slavery", "Empire of Kanem-Bomu slavery".
You cut and paste Afrocentric blogs and websites all the time. But Afrocentricism is all about whitewashing black history and stealing other people's history because frankly sub-Saharan Africa has very little history. And the history beginning at the Middle Ages that's there, incriminates and tarnishes these Africans as slavers. It's a blight. They missed the Bronze age completely, they went from the Stone age to the Iron age. That's only because migrations of other peoples began making contact with sub-Saharan Africa. The wheel and chariot are Middle East inventions. There were no chariots or wheel inventors in sub-Saharan Africa neither were there any written languages. There aren't any pyramids and ziggurats and temples found in sub-Saharan Africa. There weren't any great empires or cities until Muslim crusades and Arab-led Trans-Saharan trading began.
Sorry, the mummies of Egypt are caucasoid. They consider themselves Egyptians. Neither black nor "white" but caucasoidal MEDITERREAN African peoples.

" But Afrocentricism is all about whitewashing black history and stealing other people's history because frankly sub-Saharan Africa has very little history."
-quite contrary...
afrocentrism as an ideology, only stresses the emphasis and importance for black people to learn about---BLACK PEOPLE! Sure, there are going to be things preached by different individs. that may not reflect certain truths as we know it, but don't throw the baby out wit the bath water.
the BAM movement, for example isn't about WHITEWASHING anything!!
and i don't think nikki giovanni or maya angelou, james earl jones, Bill Cosby or any of those other high brow, high profile black actors of the 70's and 80's are in to WHITEWASHIN anything either. yet, all of these people have involved themselves in quote on quote 'afrocentric' activities and functions..
DuBois has NOTHING to do with whitwashin sh*t!!
Cornell West..
Michael Erik Dyson..
none of these nlggas is about whitewashin..
don't be so stereotypical.
-oh and, every "people" on the planet have history.
in the context of american law, the saying goes "if it aint writ, it aint happen.' or is it, "if it aint writ, it aint legit?"
i forgot. but either way, that only works in law.
wherever theres' people, there's history.

and i don't think nikki giovanni or maya angelou, james earl jones, Bill Cosby or any of those other high brow, high profile black actors of the 70's and 80's are in to WHITEWASHIN anything either. yet, all of these people have involved themselves in quote on quote 'afrocentric' activities and functions..

" But Afrocentricism is all about whitewashing black history and stealing other people's history because frankly sub-Saharan Africa has very little history."
-quite contrary...

It also falls into the context of history, prof. Besides Sudan (Nubia the "black Egypt", and parts of the Horn of Africa, East Africa), sub-Saharan Africans weren't advanced architects and were illiterate (no script or hieroglyphs). Sub-Saharan Africans didn't start building architectures until the Middle Ages and I have a gut-feeling that is because of the Arabic influences infiltrating the area and began advancing the sub-Saharan Africans.
There is a complete utter lack of advanced civilizations (ie Sumeria, Babylon, Persia, Assyria, Levant, China, India, Rome, Greece, Egypt, Carthage, Mayan, Incan, Aztec, etc, etc) in sub-Saharan Africa. Sub-Saharan Africa doesn't have a Bronze age either. They leaped from the Stone age to the Iron age (Middle Ages).
