YES IT IS!!! TRY THE FACT YOU CAN GET A DEGREE IN CJ AND GET THE FOUNDATION OF BECOMING A LAWYER, FEDERAL AGENT, ALL TYPES OF SHIT. MAD GOVERNMENT JOBS ONCE YOU GET YOUR PHD IN CRIMINOLOGY OR EVEN A MA IN PUBLIC ADMIN OR GO TO LAW SCHOOL. ETC...WHAT EVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT.

I'm posting this because I ran into 2 old classmates whom graduated with BA's in criminal justice. I saw the first one at Kohls folding clothes LoL, and I saw the 2nds dude at the mall saw as a security guard lol.

The only one I knew that got hired to something worth it was a blonde white girl whom got a job at ATF....Go figure.

I majored in criminal justice before I switched over to something else. The classes were interesting, but all the test in most of my classes were majority "key terms". For example "what do you call someone whom escaped from probation?" "absconder". Shit like that.

They fill your head up with all these lies talking about with a criminal justice degree you can be a federal agent, working for FBI, CIA etc. What they don't let you know is that these federal agencies are incredibly hard to get into as they are incredibility selective on who they take in. And they also wanted high GPA's. One of my classmates applied for FBI. They make you take a personality test first. The test consisted of questions like this : Do you believe everything you hear and read about in the news: All the time, most of the time, sometimes, half of the time". LoL, he got a letter in the mail stating "you are not what we are looking for". LoL

I took some criminal justice classes back in the day at a local community college to know what police are taught, one class was police procedures and that shit has helped me throughout the years, learned all the ins and outs of police stops, rights, and tricks police do to make you give up your 4th amendment rights. the teacher out here picked me to demonstrate frisks, had some bud up in my shoe underneath the sole and never found that shit. but that class was the shit, teacher was a police officer up in beloit at the time and first day in all his intro classes asked why you was takin his courses, so I told him I wanted to know my rights better after what I've seen done...dude respected that, probably the only cool ass police I ever met.

I took another class in criminal investigation and that was the shit too, we'd cut up in teams make crime scenes and then go back to other teams crime scenes, set perimeters all that shit. know exactly what police is looking for, tools they use in interregation.

we got a lawyers cheat book too which was made out of that same paper bibles is made out of and had about 2000 pages, it had different cases that were appealed, why they were being appealed, if they were actually appealed or not, and the judges rational why his decision was his decision, anyway they make a new version of these books every 2 years so lawyers can find case studies and appeals easily.

I think most fed agencies want a minimum of masters degrees plus usually want experience in a field before they let you in, but I heard they give lie detectors all that shit...
