GDN Post For Treyvon Martin

Just came from the Treyvon Martin rally in D.C supporting justice for the unarmed 17 year old boy shot in samford florida.

I attended wtih my brothers all as one to support jutice for unjustified acts against a black youth whos only crime was wearing a hoodie......armed only with a bag of skittles and an arizona tea.

No matter if u adopted the 720 concept where u at or 360 till the world blow , we need to realize that this boy was murdered while people watched.....in front of cowards! He was murdered by a coward who chose a baby with candy and a bottle and not a real nigga that he might of secretly been armed like he was. We need to realize that yea we are a threat to muthaphukas like this and if we was there you know how some of us get...we would of seen some white nieghborhood watch dude beating a little black kid for walking...we would of been drunk or leaned up or wit the hommies and he would of got fucked up and beat down and his hammer would of been confiscated for use in the security of our nation. We are undisciplined at times but we are still protectors of our communities and we have influence.

How about rallying for all the innocent school children that got killed in chicago.or the 6 yr old girl or the black man down south in memphis who was just working and got shot and killed.

Or rallying for any of the many incidents that plague or hoods.... i mean u right there is more then anyone person that count...... my condolences to those in your communities and other victims of completly unjustified acts..

media conglomerates sometimes pick and choose stories that garnish ratings such as the trayvon martin story...

If some Ogs in the DC area talk like u i may have been GD over Crip lol but this real talk.....but kids get shot almost everyday...if the kid was 1 year older he would have been 18 would it still have the same impact?

Political, Economic, SHHH!!! This is mos def a social issue and it's way deeper than Treyvon. Not tryin to diminish the pain his Mother feels, etc. etc. But come on Growth And Development, we supposed to be rallying and bettering our communities at all costs. Glad to see yall throwin this up.
