Its really a fucking great story and I gotta give props to Dawley, Bobby Gore Pep Perry on some levels and Alfonso Alford for making it all work. It was almost unbelievable in a way, but if people wanted to inflict change, it could be done...

I read that book awhile back and it decent, Them Lords were really doing something back in those days... These days everybody know the corporations ain't giving shit to the community and if they do, the community won't have much say about where it going.

another good book that most cats don't know about is, ViceLords; Warriors of the Streets...now that shit tight because it more about them cats gettin down before dawley came around... more stories about actual fights and how shit went down before Conservative came out and there like 12 pages from one of the originals in his own words, the story of Mighty Mighty and an original war anthem too.

As far as I know, he is still alive- I saw him about 7 or 8 years ago in North Lawndale and talked to him for about 5 minutes...Nice gentleman, just out walking in the hood...He's got to be around 76 or 77 now...
