serious question for chicago niggas

i might be movin out there. im takin my first trip out there next week to scope it out and meet my future inlaws (wifeys fam is from chicago). we thinkin bout movin there cause i can get a company transfer gettin paid the same im gettin paid now, but pay less in bills in chicago than in nyc. plus her mother has cancer and she wants to live near her moms for her final years. me i dont give a fuck i'll live anywhere and adapt i know how to move right and im a respectful nigga.

anyway my question is what is the best latino neighborhood to move to thats not like hell on earth to outsiders, got spanish food stores, decent bud and clothes shopping centers? i was lookin at apartmentguide.com and i got a feelin that site done got a lot of niggas into the wrong type of situations. im just a regular hood nigga that wants to work my lil jobby job, smoke my bud and get fresh in the chi. i aint goin out there to join a gang and start rammin niggas with expeditions off the highways and shit.

Hanson? My fam stay in hanson park. They got they fair share of gang problems buts its sweet compared to other latino neighborhoods.shid yall can stay in hanson park or Try Logan square belmont-cragin(Hanson park) or up north. Humboldt park gettin gentrified heavy but it still got its hispanic stores and goya beans and shit lol. Up north is tricky when it come to good and bad spots but like in any hood u a be good if all u doin is going to work and wanna smoke. Rogers park decent but its to far from the North West side(hanson park, Logan square, belmont-cragin) if yall still tryna be close to her O.G.

If yo girl latino and grew up here she gone be draggin u to the HIP mall anyway.

now (chicago) go with belmont-cragin which is nieghborhood next to hanson park or even portage park or jefferson park which are both like 10the minutes from hanson park.2-3 bdrm aprt. Are going for 800-1100 dollas in these parts.good luck and wel ome tothe chi.
