Yeah Dallas to Fort Worth to us is like a whole fuckin trip, you don't just wander outside the city and end up in Forth Worth, you gotta have your mind on going out there.Fahlife wrote:I feel you when I was in ft worth ,dude was like we don't go to Dallas .his example was if its someone performing in dallas we not going to make that ride. From the outside looking in its the same general area but when u in it and seeing how the two cities move independently u get a different perspective. But aye I had a 23 yo homeboy in Houston who didnt know how to get to the south side lol same city/ region but unconnected
I understand what you're saying, it's the DFW, but I'm saying that Dallas and Fort Worth are two different places distance wise too. I moved to Arlington, all my friends said "Damn why you move so far?" That might as well be West Texas to us. I didnt even know black people from Fort Worth had the same accent as black people Dallas cuz in my mind, that's so far away.Q. wrote:Being a different place has nothing to do with being neighbors...thats what o keep tryna get across to you...i cant tell you about northern new jersey yet that doesnt exclude it from being the tristate
Up here when we label dallad tri state its labeled "dallas-ft.worth "
Like, if somebody came up to you and said "You sound like you're from New Jersey", you respond "I'm from New York" and they say "It's the same thing ain't it?" wouldn't you be like "no"
You go up to somebody from ft Worth tryna tell them they're from Dallas, they're gonna look at you the same way, "that's 30 mile east of here"
