Unarchived from the ’80s, the Hummel Hive Super Trimm “Black” has just been re-released in limited numbers. Backed by a cartoon character campaign by the German government decades ago, the shoe was designed to get the people of Germany into exercise and sport. More lifestyle in aim and more global in approach circa 2017, the nubuck retro has launched overseas at shops such as HANON, Overkil, Par5, Afew, Avenue, STØY, Baskets, 290 sqm, 90 sqm, Titolo and Piils. Check ’em out below.

Back on 2001, Allen Iverson led an extremely middling Philadelphia 76ers team to the NBA Finals. Iverson was also the league’s MVP that year, and would face a Western Conference power in the Los Angeles Lakers for that ever elusive Larry O’Brien trophy.

AI, unfortunately, didn’t win the Finals that season as Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal were an immovable Goliath. Yet Iverson had his triumphant moments, the biggest of which came in Game 1 when he hit a clutch step back shot, after which he stepped over former Los Angeles Laker guard and current Cleveland Cavaliers head coach, Tyronn Lue.

In honor of this heroic moment now 16 years ago, Reebok is set to release a limited edition Answer IV “Playoff Pack” featuring the White/Black colorway of the shoe Iverson wore during that Game 1 victory. The pack will be limited to just 500 pairs and comes with a special edition sweatband and packing that includes a silhouette of the famed “step over” moment.

As Stance Socks winds down their final season as the official sock provider for the NBA, the widely successful company begins to pivot its efforts for further visibility. Today they’ve partnered with American footwear brand New Balance for two upcoming collaborative releases.

Canvassing the timeless NB 997 along with the modern-day NB 1978, each model represents the brand’s roots on opposing coast. The 997 odes to New Balance’s home of Boston, where foundational brick buildings help erect the elder city. On the other hand, Stance’s uprising out west is represented by the sea and sands of San Clemente, California. Both styles adorn high quality pigskin suede and, fittingly, come with a pair of matching socks.

Look for the Stance x New Balance Collection on June 10 at select retailers everywhere.

Earlier this year Nike released Deion Sanders’ first signature shoe, the Air Diamond Turf, in its OG black, white and red colorway. Shortly after, it was rumored that another original offering, the “Emerald,” would soon follow.

Well it has. The Nike Air Diamond Turf “Emerald” is back in select stores in traditional black nubuck, white leather and emerald hits across the tongue, strap Swoosh branding and the outer.

You can grab a pair for $115 now at select shops like Jimmy Jazz.

The Air Jordan 1 has been a constant theme in 2017. Of course, the “Royals” caused a stir earlier this year, but pairs like the “Metallic Red” and “New Love” have also been noteworthy releases. And as we head into summer, Jordan Brand will return their “Premium Essentials” pairs championed by this “Sail” edition.

Made to be limitless in its functionality – an ideal counterpart for any outfit of your choosing – the Air Jordan 1 High “Sail” adorns a neutral off-white leather upper matched with vibrant red tongue branding. The shoe will release alongside a black partnering pair.

Calendar the June 20 Jordan Release Date for the Air Jordan 1 High “Sail” and grab an official look below.

Releasing for the first time since 1998, next weekend holds court for the inaugural retro of the Air Jordan 13 Low “Chutney” edition.

This timeless colorway in black and chutney adorns suede, nubuck and leather fabrication, a mixed material blend that falls upon almost all pairs of the Air Jordan 13. Yet this offbeat palette has always been a favorite, and given its 19 year absence, now is ripe for a remastered return.

Calendar the June 10 Jordan Release Date of the Air Jordan 13 Low “Chutney” and grab a better look below.

Summer hasn’t even started and sneakerheads are already in the holiday spirit. Why is that? Today we get our first look at the Air Jordan 11 “Navy” slated to launch on Black Friday.

Seemingly a preview at the first of two holiday Air Jordan 11 mid top releases, this pair plays with the pantone palette pitched on the “Legend Blue” 4s by mixing a white upper with heavy navy accents and columbia blue branding.

While updating the most popular basketball sneaker ever made is usually touchy territory, we’ll go right out and say these look pretty good. Are you feeling these? Let us know in the comments section. Also, check out the red pair that’s also rumored to release for Holiday 2017.

Following a retro of the Air Jordan 4 “Pure Money” earlier this spring, the warm weather friendly colorway continues to spread across the Jordan Brand landscape with its on taking of the Air Jordan 7 this weekend.

Similar to its aforementioned sartorial guiding force, the Air Jordan 7 “Pure Money” embarks on a white and Pure Platinum palette with matching brand work. The simplistic style is best paired with lightly washed and white denim when summer is at its peak.

Calendar the June 3 Jordan Release Date for this upcoming Air Jordan 7 and give them a closer look courtesy of Solebox.

Next month marks the 19th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s sixth and final NBA championship, a season that culminated with MJ and the Bulls taking down the Utah Jazz in the 1998 NBA Finals. Jordan wore two sneakers during that matchup — the Air Jordan 13 and the Air Jordan 14, respectively.

Both those models align in the commemorative Air Jordan 13/14 Defining Moments Pack, which pays tribute to Jordan’s heroics 19 years ago. The packs theme revolves around black, white and gold shades, the latter of which represents the Larry O’Brien trophy.

Jordan wore the Air Jordan 13 through Game 5 of the championship series. For the series’ final stage, Game 6, he wore the yet-to-be-released Air Jordan 14 and hit arguably the greatest shot of his career over Byron Russell.

The Air Jordan 13/14 DMP Pack will hit retailers on June 14. Grab a closer look below courtesy of Feature and let us know if you plan to cop.

Someone Stole $14,000 Worth of Nikes from a Semi Truck

Memphis Police are searching for suspects.
BY AMIR ISMAEL

Unfortunately, tractor trailers are huge targets among thieves—especially when they're packed with expensive sneaker shipments. Memphis Police are now in search of suspects after $14,000 worth of sneakers went missing from a parked trailer

According to WREG Channel 3 News, the incident happened at CEVA Logistics, a local shipping facility. Police said that the locks on the parked trailer were cut and several shipments of Nikes were unloaded.

"In Memphis, they know what trailers got what in them," said Ned Hunter, a local truck driver. "If you know what’s in the trailer, then you should get on to where you got to go to, get out of Memphis."

Memphis, Tennessee is home to Nike's largest distribution centers, so savvy thieves are keen to targeting specific trucks. Hunter also added that truck drivers are encouraged to travel at least 100 to 200 miles before stopping when transporting valuables.

The company stated that the truck was left parked on the property because it needed a tire repair. The driver came back two days later to find the locks cut and the shipment missing.

In the last truck theft we reported, the driver himself made off with $19,000 worth of New Balances before getting caught. Not to point any fingers, but Memphis Police might want to start with the driver as a possible suspect.

If you have information that could help lead to an arrest, you’re asked to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.

First revealed back in March when Jordan Brand removed the veil on their entire spring/summer 2017 campaign, next weekend marks the release of the Air Jordan 4 “Alternate Motorsport” edition.

Another installment to the ever impressive “Alternate” series, which flips elder Air Jordan colorways so fans can view them from the opposite end of the color spectrum, comes this largely black centric Air Jordan 4 finished with Royal and Cement Grey accents and a white midsole. The smooth leather base is of remastered quality.

Be sure to calendar the June 17 Jordan Release Date and let us know if you plan to cop the “Alternate Motorsport” 4’s.

Air Jordan 4 “Alternate Motorsport”

Style #: 308497-006

It’s difficult to deny the hold ASICS has on the retro running market. Silhouettes like their Gel Lyte III, Kayano Trainer, and of course, the Gel Lyte V, are all arguably among the best year in and year out.

Three new summer ready colorways of the Gel Lyte V are again stellar, consistent in their mixed material construction and remarkable color blocking. Tan and grey primaries are paired with pastel blues, greens, red and coral, which easily transition from warm weather to cooler climate.

This new ASICS Gel Lyte V collection is available now at global ASICS Tiger retailers now.
