This premium take on the 1990-produced shoe is best defined by its lush suede upper which glows in Game Royal matched by black and silver accents at the tongue, heel branding and midsole. The tonal mesh window adds a contemporary flair to the upcoming release that lands in stores on September 20.

Take a closer look at the Air Jordan 5 “Blue Suede” below and share yours thoughts.

Earlier this week we reported that Nike would be releasing an SF-AF1 Mid. Today more images of the shoe are unveiled, with three colorways in all now in full lateral viewing.

Vindicated in white, black and camouflage, each style bears a slight shorter frame as opposed to the traditional SF-AF1 while also seeking zipped construction at the heel and a top strap in lieu of paracord straps. An inscription above the rear paneling reads “URBAN UTILITY FTWR” which leans towards the shoes militaristic inspiration.

While there are no official markings to make the connection, this new colorway of the Air Jordan 11 Low has been dubbed "Barons" by sneakerheads due to a palette resembling the scheme of Michael Jordan's old baseball team.

The tuxedo-ready make-up pairs black patent leather and nubuck together on the upper, accented by white and metallic silver branding hits. Below sits a white midsole and clear translucent rubber outsole.

Available in sizing ranging from men's to toddler, the "Barons" Air Jordan 11 Retro Low releases Saturday, May 27 for $175 and down.

Jordan Brand will liven up your summer rotation next week, when the Air Jordan 2 Retro Deconstructed makes its retail debut.

A slew of bold, vibrant colorways are in the works, beginning with this "Mint Foam" make-up. The single-color design is void of traditional leather construction, instead featuring a stripped down suede upper with tonal branding hits and design elements.

Retailers like Oneness are planning to release this colorway of the Air Jordan 2 Deconstructed on Wednesday, May 24 for $160.

2017 continues to be a crowning year for the Nike Air More Uptempo. Scottie Pippen’s 90s model is releasing in just about every method possible. From OG bringbacks to collaborations, new inline options are also emerging in the favored, silhouette — like this one on Obsidian/Gum.

Dressed in a dark navy upper with white piping to outline the leather AIR branding, Visible Air is coupled with a gum outsole to finish this June 29 Nike Air More Uptempo release. Take a better look below and let us know if you plan to cop a pair this summer.

Did you score a pair of the “Metallic Gold” 97s last weekend? If not don’t sweat it, there are still OG 97s left to be had. In fact, another pair is reported to release later this year.

The Nike Air Max 97 “Neon” is dropping in 2017. First reported by US11, the shoe will return sometime this year in a slightly varied form; it looks as if the original lettering on the heel tab is now in silver whereas the OG featured “Air Max” script in neon.

No release details for the Nike Air Max 97 “Neon” retro is currently available.

A this point we’ve seen just about every colorway of the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 given the shoe’s wide circulation at retail. But later this summer the three stripes will debut a budding burgundy colorway that seamlessly transitions into fall wears.

The rarity that is burgundy Primeknit flows throughout the low-cut style while black accents mark the heel counter and traditional Continental outer. BOOST comes customary in white to close this September 2017 Ultra Boost release.

Grab an official look at the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 “Burgundy” below and stay tuned for more.

While we still await OG retros of Charles Barkley’s Nike Air Force Max, the 90s shoe is revealed today in a contemporary lifestyle update courtesy of this “Flax” edition.

A shoe not only worn by Sir Charles, but the Fab Five too, is outfitted in the Timberland-inspired colorway presumed to release during the fall/winter season. Its tonal “Wheat” upper is attached to a white midsole and gum outer.

Although unconventional for its time, the adidas Climacool has managed staying power many silhouettes released during its era have not. The shoe’s inventive cooling technology has carried it decades, and now modern-day color blocking has stepped in to do the heavy lifting.

This all-new “Frozen Green” edition is one of the better new colorways to date. Its mesh upper is done in green with hints of red coupled alongside a greenish and red sole unit. Pairs of the adidas Climacool “Frozen Green” are available now at Inflammable.

Half a Million Pairs of Fake Shoes Valued at $87 Million Seized in China

Today, the Global Times reports that half a million pairs of fake shoes were seized by police in Anhul, China. The shoes were intended to be exported to the Middle East and Africa, with a total value surpassing 600 million yuan, or $87.3 million dollars.

According to China Central Television (CCTV), fake Nikes, Converse and Vans were made to resemble authentic pairs, but were made with cheap materials. They're being produced for about 20 yuan ($3 dollars), then sold for about 400 yuan ($58 dollars) in foreign markets. Though tagged as being manufactured in countries like Vietnam and Malaysia, the shoes were made in the neighboring area of Bengbu.

What makes this story even more interesting is that the bust began with a tip from Nike Sports China to Bengbu police in December 2015, explaining the presence of counterfeit shoes resembling its branded products in Middle East countries. Police spent about a month working with the lead from Nike, before identifying Jinfeng Factory, a subsidiary of the Feiyu Group, as the target in its investigation. In particular, they singled out a major suspect with the surname of Dai, the factory director who had previously served a suspended prison sentence of two years for manufacturing counterfeit shoes in 2008. Ten other suspects have been arrested in connection to the crime in the past two years—Dai reportedly still remains at large.

For now, the case has been handed to local courts for further investigation and sentencing.

In a very patriotic move, Nike is releasing the Air Force 1 Low this summer in an USA-themed colorway.

With a red, white and blue upper, the Nike Air Force 1 Low also features a metallic gold mini-Swoosh near the toe. The mini-Swoosh is usually only reserved for the Air Max 1 so this is new and nice subtle touch for Air Force 1 Low.

No official release date has been announced for the Independence Day-themed Nike Air Force 1 Low, but with the holiday just over a month away, they will surely be dropping in the coming weeks.

ASICS continues to get creative for summer with this new tropical release of their hallmark Gel Lyte V.

Inspired by the rocks, coral and sand that reside beneath certain bodies of water, the ASICS Gel Lyte V “Reef” explores the tropics with lightweight suede fabrication color blocked to perfection throughout the low-cut runner. A neoprene sockliner aids in the models comfort along a white midsole and two-tone outer.

Take a closer look at this Gel Lyte V below and pick up a pair now at Sneaker Politics.
