Although a hacky sack theme seems more appropriately aligned with something more fitting like the Nike Dunk, the Swoosh skips over the skateboarding shoe to pair the whimsical sport with the Air Force 1.

Fashioned with a denim upper alongside white branding and midsole, the patterning and colors from the hacky sack ball fills the seams, tongue liner and heel counter. This mixed material take on the AF1 is without doubt an intriguing one. Are you feeling them? Give the Nike Air Force 1 “Hacky Sack” a look below and pick up a pair now at international shops like 43einhalb.

Nike is high on the Air More Uptempo this year as evidenced by the forthcoming Supreme collaboration and the return of the “Hoop” pack pair from 2005.

Today brings forth a first look at a flip on a “Bulls” colorway. Largely fitted in white and black with red pops at the Swoosh branding and Pippen’s heel logo, US11 previews this new colorway with a reported April 29 release date.

Are you feeling this upcoming Nike Air More Uptempo colorway? Let us know in the comments section after a detailed look below.

2017 is already shaping up to be a big year for the Nike Air More Uptempo. With the Supreme collaboration looming and due in stores any day now (any Thursday to be more specific), new inline variations of the shoe were all but expected.

Today the shoe emerges in a “Knicks” colorway, outfitted in clean white leather joined by contrasting blue and orange shades that ode to the team that plays in the Garden. More intimately, though, this rendering has implications to Patrick Ewing, Scottie Pippen’s foe whom also wore No. 33 which is stitched on the heel.

Give the Nike Air More Uptempo “Knicks” a first look below and stay tuned for more details.

Will the Tar Heels cut down the nets in the days to come? Fans in argyle sure hope so, but regardless we all win with the Air Jordan 11 Low “University Blue” re-release. Originally launched back in 2001 in a move that brought patent leather low tops to the retail world, this colorway made the most of Mike’s alma mater as well as the hottest team tone of that era.

Back once again, look for these to launch at select Jordan Brand accounts such as CNCPTS on April 15th.

Q. wrote:Last month Jordan Brand revealed a large component of its spring/summer 2017 release core highlighted by low-cut variations of the Air Jordan 11 and Air Jordan 13. Where the 1998-produced silhouette is concerned, the brand is returning two OG colorways this summer — the “Navy” and the “Chutney.”

The latter has been vindicated with a Jordan Release Date, slated to land at Jordan Brand stores on June 10. This first retro run of the Air Jordan 13 Low “Chutney” will be a popular one this summer, a must-have for Jordan purists and a piece of history for those who never had a chance to secure a pair in decades past.

Be sure to calendar the June 10 release date and take an official look below.

If you’re addicted to sneakers like we are here at Nice Kicks, you’re going to love the theme behind the first ever collaboration between Afew and Diadora.

This teaser preview of the Afew x Diadora V7000 “Highly Addictive” shows packaging that resembles medication for the clinically addicted who require pills just to get through the day. The shoe itself denotes cream, pink, red and light shades of green alongside a patterned insole full of prescription pills. All of these ingredients are ripe for a “Sneaker High” which can be yours on April 22. Take a look below and share your thoughts.

Kultura album coming soon? Maybe. Actually, no, probably not. But Commonwealth, a sneaker shop based in Washington D.C. and Virginia Beach, is extending their brand kultura (Pilipino tagalog for “culture”) to the Philippines to open their first international shop.

To commemorate the occasion, they’ve partnered with ASICS to release a collaborative Gel Lyte V “Kultura.” The shoe also celebrates the Kalinga, an indigenous group in the Philippines who inhabit the mountains of Luzon, all the while reserving their sacred culture despite decades of occupation by the Spaniards, Americans, and Japanese.

Expect the Commonwealth x ASICS GEL-Lyte V “Kultura” exclusively at Commonwealth doors on April 7, quickly trailed by a globally release at ASICS retailers the following week on April 14.

Ronnie Fieg may very well be the busiest man in sneakers. His far-reaching collaborations and in-house KITH drops populate shelves at a frequency and stature few can match. And it looks as if the Queens-native is back at his old tricks with ASICS with a new collab.

This time canvassing the often-forgotten Gel-Diablo, Fieg reimagined the silhouette in hues his followers know all too well. With traces of “Rose Gold” and subtle nuance of “Flamingo” fame, this Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel-Diablo looks to Fieg’s past while also introducing newness in a refreshing yet familiar methodology.

Grab a first look at the shoe below and stay tuned for more details.

Saucony looks to up their visibility this summer with a material centric new collection centered around the Grid 9000.

Fittingly titled the “Knit” pack, the three-piece assortment revolves around a knitted textile upper with supporting premium materials in a secondary lead. The collection as a whole displays a heathered aesthetic residing over a comfortable EVA foam midsole alongside soft suede overlays and rope laces.

The Saucony Grid 9000 “Knit” Pack is available now for $90 each at Feature.

Finding its footing in Finland then getting wear domestically by the likes of Upscale Vandal, the Karhu Fusion 2.0 “Maaliskuu” Pack makes the most of its momentum by warming up with the weather as the hype also heats up. Make no mistake though, they aren’t chasing trends or running towards resale as they keep it thorough through inspiration straight from the spring season and the great outdoors.

Shot just the same, check out detailed shots of both colorways from @Runnerwally below to decide if these are for you. Look for this ’90s silo to release at Karhu accounts worldwide for $140 a pair.

While U.S. consumers await the general release of the Nike Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” OG on April 15, Euro sneakerheads are already on to the next. The next release that is; which in their case happens to be the “Gold” iteration of the 1997-produced silhouette.

Dropping on April 20 at select European retailers, this Metallic Gold edition is undeniably one of our favorites of the AM 97. A U.S. release date for the shoe hasn’t yet been announced. Stay tuned for more news on the Nike Air Max 97 “Gold” in the weeks ahead.

Nike Air has taken on many shapes and forms, but perhaps the jiggiest was Tuned Air. Dropping during the shiny suit era and embellishing uppers with gradient mesh fade, the new wave of cushioning and styling was met with aesthetic acclaim.

Merging styles only two years apart, the Nike Air Max Plus “Silver Bullet” swaps the faded style oft associated with the AMP for that of the colorway made famous by the Air Max 97. Slated to launch overseas on April 13th at Foot Locker Europe and select Swoosh accounts, preview this pair below and be on the lookout for a hopeful drop Stateside.

Leaning on materials to punctuate this spring centered collection, Nike debuts a two-piece set entitled the “Dusted Clay” pack.

Dressed primarily in earth tones with a muted pink backing, supple suede and nubuck construction steer the offering encapsulated by the Nike Air Max 95 and the Nike Air Huarache. Each style is accented with a white midsole and a gum outer — customary placement for Nike Sportswear releases these days.

Give the Nike “Dusted Clay” Pack a look below and stay tuned for Stateside release details.

Jordan Brand’s Alternate series has been a welcome addition to the ongoing mold of their modern legacy. Taking traditional styles and re-imagining them in colorways that could have been, Nike is unofficially getting into the trend with this remixed iteration of the Air Max 95 “Neon.”

Filled with darker shades of grey when compared to its predecessor, this Nike Air Max 95 does feature pops of Volt at the tongue, rear branding and outsole. Grab a look at this alternate “Neon” and let us know what you think.

Although a release date for the Supreme x Nike Air More Uptempo collection continues to elude the sneaker community at large, more images of the highly anticipated assortment are revealed today thanks to Flight Club.

The pack’s “Gold” pair is now on sale at the favored consignment shop for an insane $3,000 USD. Largely considered the pack’s most coveted pair, metallic gold leather trickles across the 90’s silo while “SUP” and “PREME” are spelled out across the bulky style.

Jordan Brand is up to something again.

Less than an hour ago a series of new colorways have hit the web on the feet and feeds of the usual suspects of friends of the brand and former employees. One of the new creations that hit was a top-to-bottom “Mint Foam” colored version of a deconstructed Air Jordan 2 that appeared on the feet of Mike Camargo, better known in the business as Upscale Vandal.

While traditionally we see the Air Jordan 2 sport a leather upper with a textured side panel reminiscent of reptile skin, this version is all suede.

While there is no release date or pricing information available at this moment, you can expect that we will keep you posted.

Often overlooked yet pivotal in Jordan Brand’ global expansion, and the continued progression of high-end sneakers, the Air Jordan 2 looks to take its rightful place in the sun with a new modern iteration — the Air Jordan 2 Decon.

Debuted earlier today in “Mint Foam,” the slimmed silhouette is removed from excess padding and weighty leather. Instead, the deconstructed model features a lightly textured suede fabrication with traditional midsole tooling below.

Jordan Brand alum and current NikeLab employee Danny Nunez today debuted the shoe in a monotone “Bordeaux” colorway, which takes from the Air Jordan 7 of the same name yet without the excess black, grey and yellow tones.

Early reports indicate that the Air Jordan 2 Decon will release sometime in July. Give the “Bordeaux” colorway a look below and stay tuned for more details.

Detroiters, Comedy Central’s new hit TV show, has teamed up with Rick Williams’ Distinct Life to create a limited run of Made in the USA New Balance 998s that’s true to all involved.

Pulling from the city and the sitcom, the shoes are inspired by the show’s main characters Tim Cramblin (Tim Robinson) and Sam Duvet (Sam Richardson). The collab carries premium suede styling and features the Detroiters logo embossed on the heel with a photo of the previously mentioned characters appearing on the footbed as a funny finish to the design.

Check out this collab below and make sure you tune into Detroiters every Tuesday night at 10:30pm EST on Comedy Central. Stay tuned for information regarding this release.
